Donations are suggested for the Pancake Breakfast, benefiting the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program. A Pancake Eating Contest will be held, sponsored by the Military Boosters.

No registration is needed to join in the fun!

Free Easter egg hunts take place every 20 minutes during morning and afternoon sessions for children ages one to 10 years old. Egg hunts will be divided by age groups 1-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-10 years. Registration will be located in Town Square Park and is required for participation. Egg hunts will be limited to 80 kids per hunt. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos. Please have children bring their own baskets to carry their treats.

IKEA is Coming to Southwest Las Vegas

IKEA is Coming to Southwest Las Vegas

Soon Las Vegan's will no longer have to take the road trip to Covina, CA, Tempe, AZ or Draper, UT to get a shopping fix from their favorite retailer IKEA. IKEA is currency known as the world's leading home furnishings retailer, and it is coming to our own back yard.

Las Vegas-based R&O Construction is to build a 351,000-square-foot store on 26 acres in the Southwest along the northern side of the 215 Beltway at Durango Drive near Sunset, just walking distance from our Keller William Realty Southwest office.

IKEA is scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.

This new IKEA will create approximately 1,000 construction jobs. Upon completion, the store will employ 300 workers.

The Las Vegas location will feature nearly 10,000 exclusively-designed items, 50 inspirational room settings, three model home interiors, a supervised children's play area, and a 450-seat restaurant serving Swedish specialties such as meatballs with lingonberries and salmon plates, as well as American dishes.

Currently IKEA has 360 stores in 47 countries with only 40 in the US.
