Las Vegas Gets new Digits -Area Code 725

Dial 725! 10-digit dialing is required starting Saturday May 3rd.

Get ready, Las Vegas is getting an additional area code whether you like it on not.

Starting June 3, all new phone customers will get numbers with the new code. If you already have a 702 number, you get to keep it.

On May 3, you will have to start dialing the area code first when making any local calls so update your devices now or prepare for lots of annoying automated responses.
Did you know This is Nevada’s third area code.

Prior to 1999, the entire state had 702, but population growth in Southern Nevada meant a 775 area code was approved for everything outside of Clark County.

The change is because of population growth across the Valley. This change will affect all Clark County residents including Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, Laughlin, Mesquite, Moapa Valley and North Las Vegas. Emergency and information numbers like 911 and 411 will remain the same.

Are Home Values Are On the Rise in Las Vegas

Where is the Real Estate Market headed?

The chart below shows the national median price for homes over the past four decades. On the right side of the graph, we can see where prices peaked around 2006. What followed was the first and only national decline in values over that 40-year era. 
Fortunately, the past few years have seen home prices making their way back toward the long-term trend line. 

Chart figures are as compiled by Estate of Mind, Inc. Chart uses a logarithmic scale with an exponential trend line. 

There is, however, still a significant gap between the trend and current national median home values. What could this mean?
One theory is that while values are heading up, they still have a ways to go before reaching the price point suggested by the historical trend. The good news for consumers is that because very low interest rates are still available, the cost of financing a home is still near record lows too.

Egg hunt registration for the morning session begins at 8 a.m., and egg hunts run from 10 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Registration for the afternoon egg hunts starts at noon, and the egg hunts will run from 2 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. Registration will be located in next to Yard House and I Love Burgers and is required for participation.
